Applications are now being accepted for the 2008 G.I.R.L. Game Design Competition scholarship of up to $10,000. The purpose of the scholarship is to recruit more women into the videogame design and production. Sponsored by Sony Online Entertainment. I thought Soul Caliber IV was shoe-in with women. A survey was conducted that had some interesting statistics

This shows how differently men and women think. This type of unbalance in sex is usually not a deterrent for guys. As many men join the military to become nurses. Why? Because the Army’s nursing school is 80% women.

I’m all for it if it means we have more characters like Alex and games like Good and Evil. I’m over uber space marines and unrealistic boobies.
