EA scraps Bad Company weapon DLC
Gamespot has been contacted by EA confirming that they are indeed scrapping the weapon DLC.
Instead the weapons will be unlockable in the game. This is really only a partial compromise as the Gold Edition buyers get access right away and everyone else has to get Top Rank of 25 to unlock them.
This just days after Horny Melon joined the boycott. Apparently we have found EAs weakness….fruit. Hopefully this leads to more companies taking a good hard look at how they plan to screw their cust….I mean, create further monetization opportunities.
